We stayed at Villa Belle in July and what a fantastic holiday we had! The villa is situated on the side of a hill which means the views over Zola bay are stunning, not only from the balconies but from the pool and patio, but is not overlooked. The building itself is beautiful and very spacious. The quality of the fixtures and fittings add the finishing touches to make this stand out from other European holiday homes we have previously stayed in. The owners have thought of everything, from flat screen TV’s in nearly every room to sun beds at both the front and back to dishwasher and washing machine. The music piped into every room (and by the pool) is a brilliant touch. The pool is a very good size, however it is an infinity pool which, although it looks stunning, may not be suitable for small children. I stayed in the master bedroom and was not disappointed. All rooms seemed to be of the same very high standard but the master bedroom has the en-suite and it has to be seen to be believed!!! Kefalonia itself is a fairly quiet island and Zola typifies this. A car is a must as Lixouri is a twenty minute drive. This is where we spent most of our evenings and not only is quite picturesque but safe. Overall we had a great time and are already thinking of going back next year, only to one of the smaller villas which were being built while we were there (and look just as good). Sue & Alan First visit to Kefalonia. Fantastic views on the way from the airport to the villa, about a 30 minute drive. A lovely small village. The Villa has all the amenities you require with en suite bathrooms, large pool and patio with barbeque area. Fantastic views from the pool and patio area, short walk to a small harbor and a small beach. We will definitely return.
