Firstly I would like to apologise for not getting in touch sooner. You know what it's like coming home (depressing) and I went straight back to work which was VERY difficult! We had a fantastic time at Villa Eros, it was everything that we had hoped! Although I have not been to Kefalonia for about twenty years, on the whole it has not changed a great deal. Obviously some tourist areas have developed but personally I like to steer clear of them. As for the rest of the island it still retains all it's charm as I remembered it.

I can quite honestly say that your villa is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in.  The villa was immaculately clean, superbly equipped and the views spectacular.  Zola is a quiet place, with a capital Q but this only added to our relaxation, and the local restaurants serve real Greek food rather than tourist stuff.  Thank you for introducing us to this wonderful place, we will be back!

Recently stayed in villa Eros 10/06/08 – 17/06/08, had a fantastic week, lovely villa, amazing views in a quiet unspoilt area.

Tried out most of the local restaurants, all were fab, cleaning lady and pool boy were very friendly and polite.

Would definitely return.

Would also like to mention Paul Holt was very helpful when we booked the villa considering I had a lot of questions, he answered all my questions with complete honesty.

The only problem that we had was that the electric kept tripping which was a bit of a nuisance and there is no local emergency number quoted anywhere in the villa (could be a problem if anything serious happened).

My only regret is that we saw very little of the island due to the villa being so peaceful with beautiful surroundings, were quite happy just to chill out around the villa.

We are come back in France ,Thursday 14,after a good trip with the ferries and the travel in Italy.
We greatly appreciated the comfort of your villa (nothing to say,except some outside lights out of order: parking,stairs,and swimming pool),and also appreciated the open view over the mountain and the sea.We travelled the lenght and breadth of Kefalonia Island (Total: 600 km and 130 photos).

We had great pleasure in villa Eros.
The villa is very nice and the swimming pool as well.
People who came are very friendly (pool cleaner and home cleaner) but the woman in charge of the cleaning makes it very fast!
There are some very little things you could changed:
In the kitchen, there is not enough materiels: spoons, forks and knifes are only 6, as well as platesare  not enough if you don't want to use the dishwasher after each meal.
You ask to use plastic items to eat outside, but there are only some glasses and plates.
I disclaim for the lights on the parking area, but nobody came to change it, so when you arrive late, it is very dark and could be dangerous with the steps.
But once again we had so much pleasure that those little things are nothing.

A wider range of TV channels would have been preferred.
Cushioned sun loungers would be more comfortable.
Is there not sufficient room to provide parking for one car and level access to the property to the side (the seaward side) of the swimming pool, leading up to the front door (thus avoiding having to use the steps)?
A wider range of cooking utensils would have been useful.
All-in-all we enjoyed our stay very much.

Would have been very useful to know in advance that there was a Dish Washer, could have taken tablets!
Would also have been useful if the documentation in the Villa informed us that a Bread Van visited the village each morning, we only realised this half way though our stay.
We all loved Villa Eros and thought it was very well equipped!

Just to say that we had a really lovely holiday in Zola, what a lovely place, and we are missing it already.
 
We loved the villa, it was so lovely and modern and also had the most breathtaking view. 
 
Just thought you would need to know however, one of the air conditioning units was not working the whole time we were there, it was blowing iut air fine enough but only warm air, maybe the refrigerating bit in it had gone or something? we did mention it to an english cleaning lady who came and she said she'd try and sort it, but evidently she didn't manage to. 
 
we're not moaning however, because we had such a lovely time, probably our best holiday yet due to the superb villa and location. everything else was spot on we had no other problems at all!
